Zarephath is inspired by the biblical story in 1 Kings 17, where the prophet Elijah meets a widow in the town of Zarephath during a time of severe famine. Though she had only a handful of flour and a little oil left, she chose to act in faith and God miraculously sustained her household. The jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry. Our pantry carries that same spirit of faith, generosity, and provision.​
